First suspected forum spammer account squashed….

Hi All!We had several new members join the forum today. One of these users was suspicious. The username was obviously not a call sign, it wasn't even a reasonable username. So I went searching and found the username listed, along with a matching IP address and email address for a spammer who spams forums with advertising spam. I have enlisted a service to weed out the suspected spammer accounts on signup.We're a small group and using our callsigns is a very intuitive way to recognize members who aren't legit. Members who use regular user names instead of callsigns are absolutely welcome, but spammers are not welcome, ever, period.The primary reason for this post is not to tell you about the spammer, but rather, I have been researching the topic and found that people on other sites have been using the private message system on those other sites to send spam.  This is not a function I am willing to allow. If you spot a spam post, please report it. If you receive any kind of spam from this site, via private message or otherwise, please notify me ASAP.Thanks!
