EmComm with LDS Headquarters

I know that the Church Headquarters in SLC has a quite extensive antennae array on the roof. Does anyone know if they are used for anything? Does the Church HQ have an EmComm Plan in place. Is there a 205 in place detailing frequencies to be used if necessary?Robert CollesterK3LDSCrossville, TN

Yes, the church holds a net to parts of the world, via the Bishop's Storehouses, every week. They have frequencies on at least the 80, 40 and 30 meter bands. You can contact the local Bishop's Storehouse for the day and time that they do their check-in along with the frequency normally used. (The US net was being held on Tuesdays.) Any amateur may check-in.
