2 Meter Simplex Net

We are looking for check-ins to our Sunday Night simplex FM net @ 8pm Eastern Time.  The Net is called the “Mecklenburg Emergency Response Communication Net” on a frequency of 147.505 Simplex with and alternate frequency of 147.525 Simplex.  I am the net control and start my net promptly at 8pm using an Omani-directional J-Pole antenna.  After giving a few calls and getting some check-ins I switch to a directional Yagi antenna.  I sweep from North to West at N, E, S and West.  We are looking for check-ins from any LDS HAM that can hear us.  It would be great to get HAMs from the Charlotte South Stake and the Gastonia Stake and maybe others.  I have checked in as far out as Iron Station.  Looking forward to hearing you on 147.505 Mhz Simplex FM next week.73'sFred CarrollAJ4CN
