Hi,Since 1998, Boulder Colorado Stake hams in the North Denver area have operated the "Louisville, Colorado Hams Net" every Sunday evening at 9:00 p.m. Mountain time on 147.495 MHz simplex. Hams, new and old, are welcome to check-in. The purpose of the net is to provide net operations practice, keep us thinking about preparedness and help keep everyone's batteries charged. For the past two years, "The Louisville Hams Net" has also been available most weeks on Echolink, using a simplex repeater located in Thornton, Colorado. Join us through the "LDSHAMS" Echolink conference (node 17388) or the "KCOPCA-R" Echolink repeater (node 4222). We try to keep the things simple and fun. The net begins with a roll-call, but after the roll opportunities are provided for new check-ins.Whether by simplex or Echolink, we hope to hear you on the air. By the way the Echolink "LDSHAMS" Echolink conference node is provided by Jay W7KBH in Las Vegas and is available 24/7. If you would like to link your own LDS net to the "LDSHAMS" conference, we invite you to schedule it by writing to Jay at LDSHAMS@cox.net73,Mike W3DIFMDerr44995@aol.com
