Coms with Salt Lake City and Store Houses

I just was called as the Buffalo Grove, IL Stake Emergency Preparedness Communications Specialist.  I was curious what the church is doing on HF in Salt Lake and locally at the storehouse level.  There used to be a daily 20m net, has that faded away?  What nets are there in case of an emergency?  How do we network in advance with the resources that run comms for these locations?ThanksErik KB9BNY

Comms between SLC and the storehouses are done using HF but those are closed Nets. Your local storehouse might do an HF net depending on the area they serve. The storehouse here in Denver uses VHF/UHF locally and HF to SLC.Your best bet is going to be to contact either your storehouse, they should have a called Comm. Specialist. Otherwise, contact your area seventy responsible for preparedness.Rob
