Greetings,This is Mark, N7YLA coordinator for the Glendora Emergency Response Communications group in the Glendora, California Stake. The mission of the Glendora Emergency Response Communications group, known as GERC, is to unite those amateur radio operators who have a common interest in communications, specifically to provide training, support and encouragement to radio amateurs who wish to serve as emergency communicators for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). We have Echolink QSOs pre-scheduled for stations in Thailand and Australia, as well as the famous USS Midway aircraft carrier berthed in San Diego, California. Please join us! We will be on the air from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm PDT. Our JOTA call sign is K6U (kilo six uniform). The Scouts are looking forward to meeting other Scouts worldwide! 73, Mark Hayden N7YLArealweather@gmail.com
